P + D | An Elegant, Backyard Intimate Wedding in Ogunquit, Maine

As a wedding photographer, intimate weddings (especially in Southern Maine) have a special place in my heart—especially after having a small, meaningful celebration of my own in Kittery, Maine. There’s something about the emotion, and the deep intentionality of the day that makes the love feel even more palpable. Perry & Dennis’s Ogunquit wedding was exactly that—a day filled with heartfelt moments in the places that were special to them with their nearest and dearest.

Perry got ready at her grandmother’s house, a space filled with family memories. Before heading to see Dennis, she shared a special first look with her dad. It was a beautiful reminder of the deep connections that make wedding days so special.

Perry & Dennis chose to share a first look along the rocky Ogunquit coastline, with the waves crashing behind them. The moment was so pure. They took this quiet time together to exchange private, personal vows.

The ceremony was beautiful and filled with emotion, officiated by Perry’s sister.

They chose the Marginal Way for some portraits — it held a special place for them. As they wandered the coastal path, the overcast light began to fade and and dramatic waves crashed over the cliffs created a stunning backdrop.

The evening continued with an intimate catered dinner by Mangia Kitchen Maine, heartfelt toasts, and dancing. Twinkling lights, laughter, and the warmth of their closest loved ones made for the perfect ending to their day.

Perry & Dennis’s wedding was a beautiful reminder that meaningful celebrations don’t have to be about size—they’re about love, connection, and being surrounded by the people who matter most.
