C + J | Dreamy Spring Garden Wedding at Historic Glen Magna Farms
There’s something magical about spring—the fresh blooms, soft light, and a sense of new beginnings. Courtney and Josh’s wedding at Glen Magna Farms in Danvers, Massachusetts, perfectly captured that magic. Nestled on the North Shore, this historic estate features breathtaking gardens that provided an ideal backdrop for their special day.
Glen Magna Farms is a photographer's dream. The sprawling gardens, stately mansion, and lush lawns offer endless spots for unforgettable photos. With spring in full bloom, the flowers at Courtney and Josh’s wedding added vibrant bursts of color to every moment, from the ceremony to the reception.
C & J spent the morning in different areas of the stately manor, putting on their final touches and enjoying quality time with their bridal parties. After getting ready, they met for a sweet first look in front of the mansion, setting the perfect tone for the day.
After their first look and family portraits, C & J exchanged personal, private vows before embarking on their ceremony.
Right before the ceremony, an unexpected visitor—a tortoise from the gardens—wandered into the tent, providing a brief moment of laughter before one of the groomsmen gently returned him to his home. Their ceremony took place in the heart of the garden, framed by romantic structures and columns, with sunlight peeking through the trees. The intimate setting, surrounded by flowers and greenery, felt like a scene from a fairytale.
After a lovely cocktail hour on the lawn, where guests mingled in front of the mansion, the celebration moved to a tented reception.
Surrounded by fresh spring blooms, C & J’s friends and family danced the night away under the stars, creating memories that would last a lifetime.
